Who we are and what we do...

Make Retirement More Active, Social, and Fun

Retirement gives you freedom — but it also leaves many men wondering what comes next. If you’re looking to stay active, make new friends, live longer (6+ yrs) and enjoy shared interests with a welcoming group of guys, SIR 146 is exactly what you’ve been looking for.

We’re a friendly community of more than 250 Central Costa County men age 55+ who believe retirement should be engaging, healthy, and enjoyable. SIR 146 members live in these communities: Alamo, Clayton Concord, Danville, Lafayette, Moraga, Martinez, Pleasant Hill and Walnut Creek. More than half of the activities also include spouses and significant others, making it easy to participate together.
